Fate of Women's Premier League title balanced on knife edge

What you need to know:
- Only two points separate the two teams with Bullets on 43 points but crucially holding their fate in their own hands.
- FKF have not announced the prize money for the league winner, and there might be no cash reward for all we know.
Who will be crowned the 2025 Football Kenya Federation Women Premier League champions on Sunday?
All eyes will be on defending champions and table leaders Kenya Police Bullets, who will face seventh-placed Trinity Starlets at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru starting at 2pm needing a win to be sure of the league crown.
Second-placed Ulinzi Starlets host Kisumu All Starlets at Ulinzi Sports Complex in Nairobi in a fixture they must win and hope Police stumble to become the new queens of Kenyan football.
Only two points separate the two teams with Bullets on 43 points but crucially holding their fate in their own hands.
Bullets could still be crowned with a loss so long as Ulinzi fail to secure all three points on Sunday.
FKF have not announced the prize money for the league winner, and there might be no cash reward for all we know.
Last season, Bullets received a paltry Sh1 million for winning the 12-team competition.
The stakes are high, as the champion will earn the right to represent Kenya in the CAF Women's Champions League Regional Qualifiers, to be held in August.
Bullets are favourites to pick all three points and indeed retain the title.
The impressive policewomen have lost only one match this season, 4-3 away to Zetech Sparks.
Bullets crushed Trinity Starlets 3-0 in their first leg encounter at the Kenya School of Government on January 12 with goals from winger Emily Morang'a, midfielder Diana Wacera, and striker Rebecca Okwaro.
Okwaro is their dangerwoman and tops the scorers chart with 14 goals in 20 matches, closely followed by Bungoma Queens striker Catherine Khaemba and Ulinzi's Joy Kinglady Oriyo, who are tied in second place with 12 goals each.
Ulinzi Starlets and Kisumu battled to a 1-1 draw the last time the two met, on January 12 at Moi Stadium.
Ulinzi must get off the blokes running and will rely on Oriyo to bang in the much needed goals.
In other matches, Kibera Soccer Women host relegated Mombasa Olympic at Maris International School in Karen, Nairobi.
Relegated Bunyore Starlets clash with Bungoma Queens at Mumboha Stadium in Luanda, Vihiga County, while Kisped Queens welcome tough opponents in four-time champions Vihiga Queens at Moi Stadium in Kisumu.
