Kenya Police Bullets head coach Beldine Odemba has attributed the team’s success in the Football Kenya Federation Women's Premier League to excellent management support.

Bullets retained their league title with a 46-point haul derived from 13 wins and seven draws.

Odemba, along with league Golden Boot winner Rebecca Okwaro, Police FC team manager George Maelo, and captain David "Cheche" Ochieng, discussed their victories on NTV's Monday night Sport On! show hosted by Bernard Ndong and James Wokabi.

"The secret remains good governance, teamwork, and strong organizational structures. The team lost only one match, mirroring the previous season, and secured the league title in the final match. It was a hard-fought victory, " said Odemba.

Kenya Police Bullets players celebrate with the title after winning the 2024/2025  Football Kenya Federation Women’s Premier League (FKF-WPL) title after beating Trinity Starlets at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru County on May 25, 2025.

Okwaro won the Golden Boot, scoring 16 goals in 21 matches as Bullets' Annedy Kundu won the Golden Glove jointly with Kibera Soccer Women shot stopper Vivian Shiyonzo. "I dedicated the league win to my dad because he has been supportive in my career. Like when I was young, he encouraged me to keep pushing, " said Okwaro.

Police lost only one fixture 4-3 to Zetech Sparksin Dandora.

Odemba observed that teams were more prepared this season.

"This season was much more difficult than the other season. I think in the first season, when we came, teams were not ready for us. And then they started working, strategizing, and making sure that we don't win the league again or they win the league."

Following their FKF Women's Cup semi-final exit on June 8, a 2-0 loss to cup holders Kibera Soccer Women at Dandora Stadium in Nairobi, Bullets will start training on July 14 for the 2025 CAF Women's Champions League Cecafa Zonal Qualifiers.

The tournament will be held in Tanzania from September 3 to 19.

Police debuted in the tournament last August losing 1-0 to Ethiopia in the final.

Odemba is relishing a second run at the tournament.

"Only the winner qualifies, and we want to do it and qualify for the championships this time," she said.
