Abduction? Juja MP Koimburi found alive, dumped in coffee plantation
Juja MP George Koimburi.
Juja Member of Parliament George Koimburi has been found unconscious at Kibichoi area in Githunguri Sub-County, Kiambu, hours after his reported abduction on Sunday afternoon.
He was abducted while attending a church service in Mugutha, Juja, by unknown people, his family said.
Mr Koimburi, who is serving his second term in office, was found dumped in a coffee plantation by a boda boda rider who alerted his family with help from the local community.
Yesterday, a video surfaced online showing individuals chasing after a Subaru car that his family believes was used in the abduction.
Mr Koimburi is not new to controversy and the limelight. He is facing forgery cases at the Kiambu Law Courts where he is accusing of faking his academic papers.
He is currently out on cash bail.
